About the Kindergarten
Sunshine Kindergarten is one of three kindergartens situated in the Wellington suburb of Karori. Karori is a large suburb with centrally located shopping and recreational facilities. There are three primary schools which have a close relationship with the existing local kindergartens.
The community has a very supportive group of parents who are interested in their children’s learning and development and a actively involved on a day to day basis. The children are from many ethnic origins. There is a mixture of long term residents and those here for a shorter period. There is a broad range of socio-economic groups attending the kindergarten.
